How to create an Apple ID

Open the settings app
At the top of the screen, tap "Sign in to your iPhone/iPad."
On the next screen, select Don't have an Apple ID or forgot it?
Select Create Apple ID
Enter your Name and Birthday
On the Next screen, you can have Apple create an email address or use an existing one, such as your DEEM Email.
Create a password that meets the minimum security standards
Verify your phone number and agree to the terms and conditions
Enter your iPhone/iPad unlock passcode to finalize your account
You now have an iCloud account. You will have to Verify your email address before you can use the Appstore.
